Experiences

2022–2025 eekem Remote, France:

  • Consultant for Amadeus working on NoSQL middle-ware drivers for Couchbase, Redis and MongoDB.
  • Implementation of a high throughput asynchronous parallel driver for Redis based on hiredis capable of handling 10 000 requests per seconds per worker.
  • Migrating Couchbase middle-ware from pure C SDK to C++ SDK

2018–2022 Sertit Illkirch Graffenstaden, France:

  • Generalising AI models for remote sensing (processing satellite and aerial imagery) using Generative Adversarial Neural networks (GANs).
  • Creation a Django powered Software as a Service platform (SaaS) for automating disaster mapping (e.g. forest fires or floods) reducing map production time.
  • Implementation AI powered tool (using CNNs) for urban flood detection with radar imagery.

2015–2018 Amadeus Sophia-Antipolis, France:

  • Maintenance of C++ backends for Car Rental, Insurance and Cruise travel reservation systems.
  • Integration new providers into the travel reservation system.
  • Contribution to the migration of the travel reservation system from operating on IBM TPF mainframes to a distributed Linux-based micro-service architecture resulting in easier to maintain systems.

2013–2015 IBM Hursley, United-Kingdom:

  • QA validation of multiple releases of business analytics suites SPSS Modeler and SPSS Entity Analytics through test planning and executions.
  • Integration of SPSS products into IBM Bluemix cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS).

2012–2013 Université Catholique de Louvain Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium:

  • Research and development of tools using machine learning enabled side-channel attacks against embedded devices and tools to protect against such attacks.
